Good News Garden

Hold the date, Sunday May 19, when we have our own miracle, the one which comes every year. We will bless and plant a variety of vegetables, herbs, and flowers. Next week there will be a full list of what we're dreaming for the season, but donations of plants and cash are gratefully received. This year, excess produce will go to the Amherst Survival Center with Ben Carlile, our Lawrence House intern. See the Friday email for links to sign up, or speak with Rev. Tanya or Susan Miller-Coulter.

Trained from a young age by his celebrated father, Pandit Buddhadev Dasgupta, Anirban presents the rich traditional repertoire of his particular musical lineage, the Shahjahanpur Gharana, with unparalleled finesse.  He will be accompanied on tabla by Mir Naqibul Islam, another artist deeply steeped in his relative tradition whose creative presentations of Farukhabad style tabla in New York City have made him one of today's most sought after accompanists.
